My mom was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who faced many health challenges in her final years. She had cancer, dementia, and a spinal fracture that left her immobilized. She was staying with me, but once she became immobile and due to my own injuries, I was forced to place her in a nursing home. The conditions were so poor that my sister and I brought her home to care for her ourselves. Even though I have nerve damage from a gunshot wound to the head, we did everything we could to make her comfortable and give her the best care possible. Sadly, she recently passed away, and we are now facing the challenge of giving her a proper burial.

She was surrounded by her three children, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and seven siblings who loved her dearly.

The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses and allow us to honor her memory in the way she deserves. I tried to get life insurance for her, but was unable to secure it in time.
