I rescue dogs from a rented cabin on an almond & walnut tree farm in the Turkish countryside. 

As a first target, it would be great to get help with funds for the labour and materials for roofing, paving, fencing and construction of safe insulated enclosures. 

The dream would be to buy this land or somewhere similar to secure the permanent safety of street dogs who have been subject to a massacre campaign for years.  

I’ve been rescuing dogs for over 15 years in 6 different countries but this is my first dog refuge project - usually I just help dogs from the houses or apartments I’ve rented, even did it on a boat once!

Whilst the idealistic fundraising target to buy land and infrastructure is circa £50k, significant and immediate improvements to the refuge can be achieved at the current accommodation for around £5-10,000.  

I will be returning to the UK and Europe to find work towards building a survival budget to return to Türkiye and get the current rescues out of their current foster kennels which are stressful environments for dogs that expose them to the elements and are void of home comforts.
