My life has been a series of difficult challenges, from losing family members to experiencing abandonment and chronic homelessness. On top of that, I live with complex PTSD, which makes every day a struggle. Recently, I lost my job, and the people around me have been more interested in drinking than supporting each other. I want to break away from that cycle and build a better future for myself, but it's hard to do alone. Lately, I've also been dealing with deficiencies and unable to eat the healthy food I want, like fruits and vegetables. Not having access to nutrient dense food has made it even harder to recover and feel strong enough to move forward. Despite all of this, I am constantly trying to better myself and find new ways to invest in my future so I don’t have to be so reliant on welfare income. What I need most right now is car repairs and the ability to afford healthy food. Having transportation is the key to finding steady work and regaining my independence, and eating well & sleeping well will help me get back on my feet.
