My name is Israel McCorkle and I am a multi-talented black teenager that is trying to make it big in the fashion industry one day. I’m based in Atlanta and dedicated to building the next huge black-owned fashion brand. I’m the founder and creative director of McCorklen, a small startup fashion house and retro lifestyle brand that I started in 2024 selling women's handbags.

As an emerging designer, I'm willing to do whatever it takes for the whole world to see what I created. I graduated from high school, also currently putting together my first runway collection. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to my dream design school because of high tuition, GPA requirements, and not that many scholarships were coming in, I used to be so frustrated that I just wanted to drop out, but I pulled myself together. The good news is that I am now enrolled in a fashion program distant from traditional collage that's located in Atlanta to further develop my design skills and fashion industry knowledge.

While my brand is still in its early stages, I have hundreds of other concepts I designed for my label that are currently not produced yet, including menswear, womenswear, 1970s inspired heels, bell bottoms, and polo’s. With your help, I can scale my brand further than ever, get funds to start fashion related events in the future, push several of my designs out there that I never been able to get produced.
