I’m Gabriel Chow, and I am proud to be partnering with buildOn to help build a brand new school in Senegal. This project brings together people from different countries to raise the funds, roll up our sleeves, and construct a safe place where children can learn. I am excited to be part of a team that will not only build walls and a roof but also help open doors to education and opportunity for generations to come.

Education changed my life, and I believe it can change the trajectory of entire communities. buildOn’s mission to unite people through service and education resonates deeply with me. By mobilizing local communities in Senegal to participate in building their own school, we are creating ownership, leadership, and lasting impact. American youth like me also grow as leaders through service, learning empathy and responsibility along the way.
