My name is Taylor, and I’m a mom doing everything I can to give my 6-year-old son, Nolan, a safe, peaceful, and stable home.

Right now, we live in a small home in

Madera County located in California and my son doesn’t have a proper bedroom of his own. As he’s growing, it’s becoming more important that he has his own quiet space — not just for sleep, but also for learning, emotional comfort, and feeling secure.

Nolan has had challenges in school, and having his own structured environment makes a huge difference in his behavior, focus, and confidence. I want to give him a room where he can sleep well, read, learn, and feel proud of himself.

I’ve been getting quotes to add an 10x11 -11x13 bedroom, but the cost of labor, materials, permits, and construction adds up fast — way beyond what I can afford on my own while still paying bills and caring for my son.

What I Need Help With

I’m trying to raise $20,000 to cover:

• Construction materials (framing, drywall, insulation, flooring)

• Electrical + lighting

• Labor costs

• Permits required in Madera County

• A safe door, window, and ventilation

• Paint + basic furniture so he has a real room

I’m not asking for luxury — just a clean, safe, simple bedroom my son can finally call his own.

Nolan is a very sweet, intelligent, loving little boy who has been through more than most kids his age. He deserves a space where he feels calm, secure, and supported. A room might seem small to some people, but for him, it would absolutely change his life.
