Help me build a fence for Shiloh and Delilah

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kelley Gustaveson. I am raising funds to build a fence for two adorable orphaned Chow Chows, Shiloh and Delilah.

Shiloh and Delilah's daddy was Tim Napierkoski. Tim and I became friends on Facebook when I was considering adopting a Chow Chow myself approximately five years ago. We eventually became friends in real life. When I first met Tim, he had three Chow Chows named Shiloh, Delilah and Bandit. They were affectionately known as the herd.

I did not get a Chow Chow but instead opted to adopt a miniature Chinese Shar Pei girl I named Phoebe.

Phoebe came to meet Tim and the herd when she was old enough. Tim agreed to take care of Phoebe when I traveled with my mom. It was very comforting to know that she was welcomed and well-cared for while I was gone. Tim would send me many pictures of the "herd + 1."

In January 2022, Tim had an abdominal aortic aneurysm rupture. He was flown to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where they saved his life. He remained in the hospital for approximately one month

When Tim came home in February, he was frail and needed a lot of help just getting out of bed. I spent a good deal of my free time helping Tim go to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and taking care of his dogs.

Unfortunately, Tim's health deteriorated over the next couple of months, and he had to be hospitalized again. Despite love and attention from Tim's daughter, Maddie, and me, the dogs were suffering from loneliness due to his absence.

Tim's dog, Bandit, was blind and had many neurological problems. The stress became too much for Bandit. In May, Tim ultimately decided to let Bandit transition and cross over the rainbow bridge. Maddie and I helped Tim with this arduous task along with a home-health care veterinarian's kind and compassionate help.

After Bandit left the herd, Tim was hospitalized twice to stabilize his blood pressure and deal with rapid kidney failure. During his last hospitalization, he suffered pulmonary edema and kidney failure, from which he could and could not rally again.

On July 15, Tim died at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis. Maddie and her two sisters knew he was gone and allowed him to pass on after turning off life support systems.

Maddie and I have been taking care of Shiloh and Delilah the best we can at Tim's house. Maddie will rehome them with her where she lives with her stepfather Jeff. Jeff is so kind to let Maddie move them in; however, it is conditioned upon building a fence around his yard.

Therein lies our plight. Maddie and her sisters cannot access funds to build the fence because Tim died without a will. So the dogs cannot be rehomed.

Tim served our country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. His service caused him to be disabled. His dogs were his life and love. It is tough for me not to be able to remedy this situation without asking for help. But I am going to do it anyway!

Please help me raise funds to build the fence.

Phoebe is also asking everyone to donate to help her two best friends. She lubs them too.
