Help Build My Non-profit Cat Rescue Sanctuary!

Hi, my name is David, and I need your help starting my cat rescue sanctuary.

For the past ten years, I have volunteered at various cat rescues, doing home visits, rescuing and rehabilitating cats in need, and taking them to the vet. During that time, I also qualified for pet microchipping and started my mobile service.

I'm currently using my spare bedroom to board and re-home one rescued cat at a time, but things have to change. That's why this year is the right time to open my sanctuary.

I have an eighty-foot back garden – the perfect size for a considerable cat cabin and two isolation sheds – that needs converting into a fully functioning cat rescue.

With your help, I can build a twenty-five-foot cat cabin, where each animal can have its own pen and outside run, all fully insulated with professionally installed electrics. In this space, I'll be able to rehabilitate and re-home over thirty unwanted or homeless cats.

To achieve this, I'll need £ 10,000. That amount covers the entire cabin construction to a fully operational standard. Once the cabins are up, I'll be ready to start re-homing cats.

This is a very important project for me. My cat Billy Bear—who the sanctuary will be named after—sadly passed away from lymphoma at age thirteen. He was my best friend through thick and thin and inspired me to become involved in cat welfare. I believe everyone should have a Billy Bear, a kind cat friend in their life, and my mission is to find the right humans for every cat who comes into my care.
