My name is Mona Lisa Turla, I am 32 years old, and I moved to Australia two years ago to pursue my dreams. I am currently studying for my Graduate Degree in Management, while working hard to build a better future for myself and for others.

Cooking and baking have always been my passion. For me, food is more than just nourishment — it brings people together, creates comfort, and builds community. My dream is to open my own café here in Australia — a warm, welcoming space where people can enjoy homemade food and heartfelt service.

But this café is not just a business dream. It is a mission.

A portion of the profits from my future café will go directly toward supporting students in my community in the Philippines. Many young people there have the talent and determination to succeed, but lack financial support for their studies. I want my café to become a bridge — turning every cup of coffee and every slice of cake into an opportunity for someone’s education.
