This past year has brought many unexpected challenges and changes for me and Esti. From the tireless and unsuccessful job search, to losing reliable transportation, and eventually becoming houseless…these setbacks have made daily life a struggle.

Through it all, my primary focus has been to create a safe, stable future for my daughter and I. With your support, we can take two very important steps forward: securing a dependable car and launching my small business. These changes will not only help us get back on our feet but also build a strong foundation, lasting stability, and independence for our future.

Our Story

In August of 2024, I was faced with the very difficult decision to resign from my role as director of a local early learning center. If you know me, you know how much I LOVED my job and the community that was built there. This was not a decision that was made lightly. Since then, Esti and I have faced ongoing financial hardships that have made life very difficult. Inconsistent income, the loss of reliable transportation, and eventually our home, has made it hard to access work, school, and even basic appointments. My older daughters have been an immense help, for which I am SO grateful! Thankfully, we are able to stay with them until I can afford a place for me and Esti. However, these challenges are also creating hardship for them as well.

As their mother, I want to be able to help and support them as they launch into the world…instead of the other way around. Without a car, daily life has been a constant challenge, and it’s limited my ability to create stability for myself and my family. Before I can establish a new home for Esti and I, I must be able to obtain reliable transportation and a steady source of income.

Even with these struggles, I am more determined than ever to move forward toward creating our bright beautiful future. My dream is to start my own business—something that will allow me to provide long-term stability, independence, and opportunities for Esti. What we need most right now is a dependable car to get us where we need to go and the initial support to begin building my business.
