I recently took a new job in United Arab Emirates. The plan was to get here, get settled, and then have my two-year-old shih tzu/poodle mix (a classic shitty poo!), Wilbur, join me. Initial estimates of the cost to have him flown here were around $2,000.

Now that I'm here and have requested specific and detailed estimates, it is clear that the cost to bring Wilbur here with me will be approximately $6,000.

It would take me much longer to save that amount than I want to wait to get my little buddy here with me. While it makes me a bit uncomfortable to ask for your help in getting Wilbur here when there is so much human suffering happening in the world, I decided that any amount friends might be able to donate will help.

And I promise that whatever amount I raise to bring Wilbur here to UAE I will donate the same amount to a humanitarian cause during 2022!
