Donate $10+ for first ever Kava Bar @ Burning Man

- Please donate $10 or $100, any amount will help my fiancé, Prince Barron, and I along with our camp Yummy RUMInations bring the first ever Kava Bar to Burning Man in 2019!

- Prince and I are Co-Leads this year with Yummy RUMInations, the camp that has brought you the magical Yum Cart for more than 14 years. We’re also getting married this year at Burning Man. We need your help to make this gift a reality and to bring our community the first ever official Kava bar to Black Rock City. 

- For those who are unfamiliar, Kava is a small shrub grown in the Pacific islands, mainly Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, and Hawaii. 
Islanders have used kava plants for centuries in social rituals, religious ceremonies and for medicinal purposes. The root and stump of the plant are ground down and made into a natural, non-alcoholic beverage. When consumed, the effect of the active ingredients in the kava plant is calming and euphoric. 

- As a Cafe and Bar Manager, playing with taste is one of my passions. Ever since my first Burn, I’ve wanted to bring my love of flavor, rituals and playfulness to Black Rock City.

-Recently, my fiancé got very sick with gout. Even though he was in severe pain, he was advised by his doctor not to take certain over-the-counter pain medication. That's when I remembered the therapeutic and pain relieving effects of kava! After drinking just a few cups a day, the pain subsided dramatically, his muscles relaxed and after a few weeks he recovered faster than expected. 
 
Please help my Prince and I share our love, our story, and our favorite medicine with as many of you as possible!
