HELP ME BRING STEPHAN HOME
Donation protected
Every morning his mother wakes up early to take an hour long bus ride to the hospital where her 10 months old son, Stephan, lives. They spend time together. She sits by his side, she tells him stories and even though he can't respond, she knows he understands. Because SMA effects muscles but leaves the brain functionality. Then night comes and she is asked to leave. He cries, he holds her finger...she cries entire way home desperately waiting for the next day to come so she could go see him again.
I ask you to imagine one day of this family. We can help! We just need to fundraise for lung ventilator machine...and Stephan can live home where mom never leaves his sight again. Stephan will turn 1 year old December 21st. Can we make the best gift of all times for him and his parents?
We have raised ~$3,500 already and we still need $6,500 to get one machine. Ideally he needs 2 (1 for reserve), but we are really rushing to get him at least one for now and then continue with second equipment in a less imergency mode.
