Help Me Bring My Short Film to Life!
Spende geschützt
Hello everyone! I'm working on my debut short film at Stockholms Filmskola called 'OLD DOGS, NEW TRICKS' and to make this possible, I need your help. Funds will go towards equipment, locations, music and post-production, and will help me take this film to a higher level.
The film is inspired by American Psychologist Ellen Langer's COUNTERCLOCKWISE EXPERIMENT which studied links between the body and mind in the elderly (with a Swedish twist!)
Below, I have included some reference visuals:

THE STORY:
Logline:
An 88-year-old woman escapes her stifling life with her controlling grandson to take part in an experiment that immerses elderly participants in the past, forcing her to confront not only her own memories but also society’s perception of aging.
Short Synopsis:
Eleanor, an 88-year-old former ballerina, feels like a burden to her ambitious and impatient grandson, Leo. Desperate to reclaim her sense of self, she joins an experimental retreat that recreates life as it was in 1969, based on the groundbreaking “Counterclockwise” study on the mind’s influence over aging. As Eleanor bonds with three other elderly women, they experience unexpected rejuvenation—physically, mentally, and emotionally—challenging what it means to grow old.
Meanwhile, Leo, panicked and in debt, sets out to find Eleanor, convinced she is being manipulated. But as he discovers the truth behind the experiment, he is forced to reconsider everything he thought he knew about his grandmother, aging, and his own role in her life.
Once completed, I plan to submit the film to festivals all over the world. Your support will help me bring this project to life. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for your support!
