My two daughters have been living in unsafe and neglectful conditions since their mother took them from me in 2016. Despite my efforts to co-parent and support their mother, she has refused to work with me and has kept the girls away. Over the years, I have learned that my daughters have been denied proper medical care, nourishment, and hygiene. They are exposed to dangerous individuals, including people with criminal records, and are often left to fend for themselves in a house with no heat or running water. When I last spoke to my daughters, they told me they were afraid of their new stepdad, who is violent, and that they live in constant fear. I reported this situation to CPS, but was told that if I want to help, I need to go through the courts. CPS presented me with paperwork showing that my daughters have been victims of physical, and sexual abuse their mother doesn’t care she cares about the money she can make and how much she can get for having these children they are in constant danger and it’s not being taken seriously, I have heard so many stories about how kids end up dead because of things like this I’m just a father trying to provide the best life for his daughters since their mother has failed them.

Getting a lawyer is the only way I can go to court in Indiana, even though I live in South Dakota, to seek custody of my daughters. With legal support, I can bring them into a safe environment where their hygiene, mental, emotional, and physical needs are met. I want to ensure they see the right doctors and therapists, are well-nourished, and have a stable home with heat and running water. I also want to make sure their education is prioritized and that they are kept away from dangerous people who could harm them.

I wish I could afford an attorney on my own, but my wife is disabled with MS and cannot work, so all our expenses fall on me. After paying child support and bills, I simply don’t have enough left to pay for it all on my own. I’m asking for your help so I can fight for my daughters’ safety and well-being.
