In 2023, I suffered two strokes while going through a difficult divorce. Because of my health at the time, I wasn't able to get 50/50 custody of my daughter, and I currently only see her one weekend a month. Since then, I've moved in with my new wife, who is active duty military, so we move frequently and often live far from my daughter. Despite the distance, I have always tried to stay involved in her life and provide as much support as possible.
I am an Arkansas Army National Guard veteran and have also served on a volunteer fire department for two years. Serving my community and my country has always been important to me, and I am now facing one of the most important battles of my life—protecting my daughter.
Recently, my ex-wife and her husband were arrested for an alleged crime of 2nd degree domestic violence involving their 4-month-old baby, who suffered broken ribs and a displaced clavicle. they are innocent until proven guilty. This news has been devastating and terrifying, especially since I had previously suspected possible abuse when my daughter had a black eye in 2024, but I had no proof at the time. Now, I am desperate to protect my daughter and ensure her safety. I am a stay-at-home dad to our soon-to-be two-year-old son, and my greatest wish is to bring my daughter into our safe and loving home.
I am raising funds to cover the legal fees needed to hire a lawyer and file an ex parte emergency custody order, as well as the travel expenses required to pick up my daughter and move her belongings.
