On Thursday April 2 2026, my dad and my Brother were on their way to work when they were pulled over by a police officer My dad was the driver and my brother was the passenger When asked for identification, my dad gave his expired ID because he was in the process of renewing his driver's license, and my brother forgot his identification in his daily work truck because it was a last minute service he had to do. Due to this, the officer called ICE, and both were taken away After transferring them to the van, they took them to the detention center in Conroe, TX. My dad was allowed to call me so I could at least know what was going on ,I am 19 years old also disabled, a full-time college student i depend on our parents for everything Their sudden detention has left me struggling to figure out how to manage without them I tried calling family members in Mexico but none seems to be available Im facing emotional and mental challenges trying to stay strong while missing my dad And my brother deeply, and figuring out how to bring them back home alone as a disabled college student ,I urgently need help to pay for legal fees so i can hire a lawyer to fight for my dad’s release on bond The funds will also help me cover living expenses while my dad’s being detained Any support you can give will make a huge difference for my family and help me stay together during this incredibly difficult time Thank you for caring about our story and for any help you can offer.
