Help Mum, Susan Griggs, get home to UK-Scotland

Hello, I am writing this on behalf of my mother, Susan Miller Griggs, who passed away 12/14/2021. Before her passing, she asked that I take her remains to the Fairy Glen in Rosemarkie, Scotland where she can join her beloved husband, John Griggs and her dear brother, Graham Miller, who are resting in the Glen. The Fairy Glen is a delightful wooded glen teeming with birds and wildlife. There are waterfalls and money trees and mossy knolls and troll bridges. It is truly magical, and I would like nothing more than to honor Mum's wishes to return there.

My travel partner and I must get to Edinburgh, Scotland, from the Pacific Northwest (Oregon). It is about a 4,700-mile plane journey, a 200-mile train ride, and finally, a quick 20-minute bus ride from Inverness to Rosemarkie. It is a costly and time-consuming pilgrimage that will require 7-10 days to complete, especially from this side of the country and will entail time off from work. In addition, we will need food and lodging in Edinburgh and Inverness. These are trying times for everyone financially, so I don't come hat in hand lightly.

I ask those who knew and loved Susan to help me bring her home to the country of her birth and her ancestry. Scotland was near and dear to both her and John's hearts, and I venture if Scotland had longer summers, he could have one day convinced her to move there permanently! The last few years have brought many challenges, heartbreaks, and uphill battles. Doing this for her would help me be at peace, knowing I did everything I could to help her until the end.
