Let’s Bring Lucifer Home From The Sandy Beaches Of Santorini
Donation protected
Hi,
my name is Brandon…
Sometimes, the most unexpected moments leave the biggest marks on our hearts.
While traveling through Europe I landed in the stunning island of Santorini, Greece, I came across a stray cat on the beach—one of many I've seen on this trip. But this one… was different.
I called him Lucifer.
Not because he was mischievous, but because he was unforgettable.
He came up to me slowly, but fast, and something about him made me stop in my tracks. I bought some food from the local shop and offered it to him. He accepted it gently, looking at me with the kind of trust you rarely find—even in people. In that moment, everything else faded away. I had a problem now: I had formed a bond that I couldn’t walk away from.
I’ve fed countless stray cats during my time abroad, wishing I could save them all. But Lucifer… Lucifer felt like home.
He smelled like safety. His fur was impossibly soft. His purrs felt like they were healing something I didn’t know was broken. He stayed me for hours, waited for me when I went into shops, sat next to me on the beach as if he’d known me his whole life.
And now, I can’t bear the thought of leaving him behind.
The strays in all of Greece have hard lives—many go hungry, untreated for illness or injury, and face dangers every single day. I don’t want Lucifer to be one of them. I want to give him the life he deserves: one filled with love, warmth, and a forever home in Australia—with me.
But bringing a cat halfway across the world isn’t simple. There are medical checks, paperwork, quarantine fees, travel costs, and more. It’s a long and expensive process—but one I’m fully committed to. I just need your help to make it possible.
If you’ve ever had a connection with an animal that felt cosmic, like they were placed in your path for a reason—you’ll understand why I can’t walk away from him.
Please help me bring Lucifer home.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to safety, to love, to home.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Brandon. <3
