Hi, my name is Megumi, and I am the founder of KitTEASe Creations. KitTEASe Creations was born from a simple belief: No heart should feel lonely. There was a time in my life when I felt lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected. During some of my most difficult moments, it was animals—especially my two cats, Earl Grey and Chamomile—who helped me find comfort, safety, and hope again. They never judged me. They never needed the perfect words. They simply showed up with their quiet presence, unconditional love, and a reminder that I wasn't alone. Through loving them and caring for them, I began to heal. That experience inspired a dream much bigger than myself. One day, I hope to create a sanctuary where cats and people can come together to find comfort, connection, and healing. A place where both animals and humans can feel safe, accepted, and loved exactly as they are.

Today, I am taking the first step toward that dream. I am currently developing an interactive cat toy designed to enrich the lives of cats while strengthening the bond between cats and the people who love them. The toy allows people to play with their cats from anywhere, anytime, creating opportunities for engagement, mental stimulation, and connection even when life gets busy. Whether someone is working long hours, traveling, managing health challenges, or simply wants another way to interact with their cat, my hope is that this toy can help bring a little more joy into both of their lives.

As a small founder-led business, I have personally invested everything I can into moving this project forward. I have already filed a provisional patent application and am actively working with an engineer to complete the prototype. However, bringing an idea from concept to reality requires resources that are difficult to fund alone. Your support will help me complete prototype development and testing, protect the invention through patent and intellectual property filings, incorporate and establish the business, cover required legal and publication expenses, attend conventions and community events to gather feedback from cat owners, create educational and marketing materials to introduce the product to more people, and continue building KitTEASe Creations and the mission behind it.
