Help me bring God's word to kids with music.

I'm Tony (Anthony) Kite. For 60 years I've been involved with church music having started in elementary school.

In 1970-71 I attended Haskell (TX) Singing School then returned to "school" in 1993 to attend the Texas Normal Singing School at ACU. I was moved to learn what it would take to write music for use by the Lord's people and for the last 30 years I've been writing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs for both adults and kids.

I have shared some songs personally to a gratifying level of acceptance. With this, I have been encouraged to share them more broadly. This songbook, Teach It to Your Children, is the result. Along with a few songs from family and friends) I am now attempting to publish this book. It contains 185 songs, some instructional material and my hope to reach lives that will grow strong and stronger in their relationship with God and others.

Will you help? My first goal is to get it published in a quality form and have found that opportunity with Westbow Press, an associate company of Thomas-Nelson / Zondervan. First-level offset, spiral-bound printing will be just under $8,000 for 1,500 copies. I am delaying the purchase of a new camera and working on gathering $3,000 on my own as rapidly as possible. That leaves $5,000 to help me achieve this goal.
