Hi, I’m Bryan. I’m a queer, Irish writer living in Toronto, and I’m working on my debut novel: Gods Between Us and All Harm.
It’s a dark fantasy steeped in Irish myth, horror, grief, and the last ember of hope.

I’m raising funds to help bring this story to life through self-publishing. That means cover design, illustration, professional editing, formatting, and getting it into the hands of readers who might need a story like this a celebration of Irish myth and legend, queer identities, brutal and beautiful.
I’ve poured years into this book. It’s rooted in my own heritage and in the belief that stories are important, no matter who tells them.

How Funds Will Be Used?
I’ve set a goal of $6,000 to cover the full cost of bringing Gods Between Us and All Harm to life. GoFundMe auto-starts at $2,400 and that’s a solid first milestone. Here’s where the full amount will go:
✦ Cover Art + Illustration – $1,500
Custom artwork that captures the haunting, myth-soaked tone of the story. Atmospheric, dark, and rooted in Ireland’s ruined beauty.
✦ Editing (Developmental + Copyediting) – $2,000
To sharpen the prose, catch what my anxious brain misses, and ensure the story hits like it should.
✦ Typesetting + Formatting – $500
Prepping the book for both print and e-book formats, including custom chapter headings and layout for that finished, pro feel.
✦ Marketing + Promotion – $1,000
Ads, promo assets, possible ARCs for reviewers, and outreach to build community before and after launch.
✦ Contingency / Admin / ISBNs / Fees – $1,000
Buffer for things I didn’t plan for (because there will always be some), ISBNs, domain and website fees, and platform cuts.
Every dollar helps and makes a difference. Even if we only hit the first milestone, that’ll cover editing and formatting enough to release the story into the world.
