Hi everyone,

My name is Joyce, and I’m from The Netherlands. Over the past few months, I have been volunteering in Peru, where I met the cutest puppy who had been rescued from the streets. We named her Cleo.

From the moment we met, Cleo stayed by my side. At first she was shy and unsure, but little by little she came out of her shell. She has grown into the sweetest, most loving and playful dog you could imagine — always curious, full of enthusiasm, and eager to make friends with everyone she meets. Even the cats here, who were not impressed at first, have secretly grown fond of her.

Before Cleo was rescued, life on the streets was dangerous and uncertain. Now she finally knows what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and loved. I cannot bear the thought of her ending up back on the streets again.

Soon, it will be time for me to return home to The Netherlands, and I would love nothing more than to take Cleo with me so she can have the safe and happy life she deserves. Unfortunately, bringing a dog from Peru to The Netherlands involves expensive paperwork, vaccinations, transport costs, and legal requirements that I cannot cover alone.
