Help Me Breathe Again: Urgent Medical and Housing Fundraiser

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

My world has turned upside down, and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea for support. Recently, I faced a devastating medical crisis, which has left me fighting for my health and my home.

It started with a severe case of pneumonia, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. I developed sepsis, and the infection spread throughout my body. I was scheduled for a Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS), but I ended up needing an open chest thoracotomy to debride the infection and fluid pockets. This will result in me being out of work for over a month and an extensive rehab ahead of me. For weeks, I couldn’t breathe on my own, and the pain was unbearable.

As a result of these health challenges, I’ve been unable to work for over a month. The medical bills are piling up, and I’ve fallen behind on my rent. I’ve received an eviction notice, and without your help, I may soon find myself without a place to call home.

Here’s a breakdown of my urgent needs:

Medical Expenses: Surgeries, hospital stays, medications, and follow-up care.

Rehabilitation: Physical therapy and rehabilitation to regain my strength and mobility.

Housing: Rent and utilities to keep a roof over my head while I recover.
