Hi,

My name is Sara, I’m 44 years old, and I have known since I was 10 that I am a woman.

For over 30 years, I have carried this truth quietly inside me. I grew up feeling different, confused, and often alone, without the language or support to understand who I truly was. So I hid. I adapted. I lived a life that never fully felt like mine.

Coming out and accepting myself has been one of the hardest things I have ever done—but also the most honest. However, that honesty has come at a cost.

Not everyone in my life has been able to accept me. One of the most painful parts of my journey has been losing the support of my own mother. Instead of understanding, I have been met with rejection. It has left me feeling deeply alone at times, especially when all I have ever wanted is to be loved for who I truly am.

Despite this, I am still here. Still fighting. Still hoping.

The next step in my journey is gender-affirming surgery. This is not about changing who I am—it is about finally becoming whole, aligning my body with the woman I have always been inside. It is about being able to live without the constant pain, anxiety, and disconnection.

I am planning to undergo surgery in a country known for its expertise and high-quality results, such as Thailand, the United States, or another trusted place. Unfortunately, the cost is far beyond what I can manage on my own.

That is why I am asking for your help.

Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to a life where I can finally feel at peace in my own body. And if you cannot donate, sharing my story means more than you can imagine.

More than anything, I just want a chance to live authentically, to feel whole, and to finally be myself—without fear, without shame, and without hiding.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for seeing me.

With love and hope,
Sara
