Hi my birth name is Kaitlyn, but I have been transitioning to the person in which I truly am.

So with that said Hi, I'm Kody!

My life was never easy. When I was at the young age of 15, I was told I was born without my uterus and ovaries in a very traumatic way by a doctor with terrible beside manners.. Since then, and even before, I never felt comfortable in my own skin.

I thought I finally found who I was at 16, when I came out to my family and friends as lesbian. Many did not support nor accept me but with my best friend Erin, and my other mother Tiffany by my side, I truly had the support any young LGBTQ+ kid could ever dream of. They loved me for who I am, not who I was "supposed to be."

As I got older, others soon realized I was not going to change for anyone, I gained more support for my life style.

In 2016, I met the love of my life. We soon got married and welcomed a beautiful child into the world. My kid brings me joy on a daily biases, and is truly my reason to keep going.

Deep down, I realized I was not lesbian but I was born in the wrong body. My visual appearance does not fit how I feel inside. I hate the "female" body I was born into, and I am taking the appropriate medicine and steps to slowly change to who I want to be.

With my wife and child next to me, I strive to be the best man, husband and father I can be.

This gofundme is to help me pay for legal fees to change my name and gender on my license, marriage license,  other paperwork and doctor visits to help the whole process to completing the true me.
