Hello, my name is Mariela, and I’m fundraising to pursue a dream that means everything to me—becoming an Aviation Maintenance Technician.

For the past two years, I’ve been working in the aviation industry as a Customer Service Agent. Every day, I’m surrounded by airplanes—watching them take off, land, and witnessing all the dedication it takes to keep people safe. Being so close to aviation has made me realize something important:

I don’t just want to be around the planes… I want to be part of the team that makes them fly.

I’ve always been fascinated by how things work and have a strong drive to build something meaningful for myself. But the truth is, getting there hasn’t been easy. I work full-time, often 8–16 hour shifts, doing everything I can to save. I don’t come from money, so every step forward has been built through hard work and sacrifice.

Every dollar I earn goes toward supporting my family, paying my bills, covering everyday living expenses, and trying to save whatever is left for school. Balancing all of that at once is overwhelming. Some days I’m exhausted trying to juggle long work hours, helping my loved ones, and still trying to take care of myself. But even on the hardest days, I refuse to give up. I know what I want in life, and I’m determined to get there.

Now, I’m ready to take the next big step toward my career—and what I need is just a little help to make it possible.

The funds raised will go directly toward tuition, tools, books, and all required costs for aviation maintenance school, allowing me to keep working, stay afloat with my bills, and finally chase the future I’ve always dreamed of. This opportunity would mean stability, growth, and the chance to open doors not just for myself, but for my entire family.
