Help me become a Traveling Vet Tech and Save Lives!

Hello! My name is Jessica, and I’m a Licensed Veterinary Technician with a deep passion for veterinary medicine and pet care. I have been a Vet Tech for 13 years, 4 years in general practice and the last 9 years in emergency medicine. I love the work that I do and can't imagine doing anything else.

As a Veterinary Technician, I have dedicated my career to helping animals live healthier, happier lives. However, I’ve realized that in my endeavor to better the quality of life for my patients, I have forgotten to live my life. I have come up with a solution that allows me to experience new things, visit new places and continue to care for animals. I want to become a traveling Vet Tech. This will allow me to travel the country while still doing the thing I love most. I have already started working towards my goal by purchasing an RV and signing up with companies like Roo (a company that helps facilitate matching Vet Techs with relief shifts available at clinics across the United States). I am excited to get out on the road and see what's out there for me.

To make this dream a reality, I need your help. The funds raised will go towards:

Travel and maintenance expenses: Gas, maintenance, and general upkeep of the RV.

Equipment and supplies: I will need a laptop and a few other supplies (i.e., scrubs, stethoscope, bandage scissors, ect)

Licensing and insurance: Maintaining the required certifications, insurance, and other legalities to practice.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help me reach my goal of care for animals across the country, while getting to see the United States. I am eager to get started and see what beauties this country has to offer, and with your support, I can do just that.
