My Piano tuning journey began a few years ago after I found myself tuning my own piano since I couldn’t afford to hire a technician and we were in lockdown during COVID. With no other option, I began learning to tune and repair the piano on my own. In the process, I fell in love with the sounds of perfect unisons and the satisfaction of seeing everything lock into place when a piano is in good condition and perfectly tuned. This experience inspired me to help others who may have pianos that seem past their prime, and I want to rekindle the life that still remains in these beautiful instruments.

I am a dedicated student, learning as much as I can on my own, but I now need to seek formal accreditation and acquire the specialized tools required to continue my journey as a piano technician. My goal is to complete online courses for CPT certification, which will prepare me for the RPT exam and help me become a registered piano technician recognized by the Piano Technicians Guild. The funds raised will go directly toward tuition for these courses and the purchase of essential tools for piano repair.

With this gift and the gratitude gained from it, I will pay it forward by bringing music and life into homes that were once silent. I hope to inspire music in the hearts of others and help people rediscover the joy that a well-tuned piano can bring.
