Help Me Become a PADI Divemaster & Marine Conservationist
Donation protected
My name is Jordan I am a 20 year old living in the UK but born and raised in Zimbabwe. I’ve been given the opportunity to join a Divemaster Conservation Internship in Mozambique, where I’ll spend 2/3 months diving daily, learning professional skills, and contributing to vital marine conservation projects.
This isn’t just about getting my PADI Divemaster certification but it’s also about dedicating myself to protecting the ocean. I’ll be working on projects like: Coral reef mapping and monitoring, shark awareness and conservation, tackling plastic pollution, and supporting eco tourism and community conservation
By the end of this, I’ll qualify as a PADI Divemaster with conservation experience, opening the door to a career in marine conservation, eco-diving, and ocean protection.
The money raised will go directly toward covering the costs of my internship, including the program fees, accommodation, food, and travel. I come from a background where finances are limited, so this support would make it possible for me to follow my dream of becoming a certified Divemaster and contributing to marine conservation in Mozambique. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to making this opportunity a reality.
The ocean needs voices, advocates, and hands on protectors. Mozambique is home to some of the world’s richest marine biodiversity, but it faces threats from overfishing, coral bleaching, and plastic pollution. By supporting me, you’re not just investing in my future, but you’re helping train someone who will be making it their mission to giving back to our planet. After this internship I will be able to use the skills and knowledge around the world as well.
Any contributions would be so deeply appreciated. With your help, I can turn my passion into action and carry these skills forward to protect marine life around the world.
