Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My Name is Keena Ahearn! I’ve recently started my journey into college with the goal of becoming a nurse. Nursing is more than a career to me - it’s my calling. I want to dedicate my life to caring for others, helping babies, and being someone people in need can trust. I am reaching out with hope, courage, and a little bit of nervousness.

This opportunity means the world to me—it’s a chance to grow, to learn, and to build a better future for myself.

My ultimate dream is to become a traveling nurse, so I can reach communities where care and compassion are needed most.

The reality is that I don’t have the financial support or savings to cover the many costs that come with being a full-time student. Tuition is only one part of the struggle. On top of that,

I need:

* A reliable computer – so I can complete my classes, take notes, and study.

* Dorm necessities and appliances – the basics like bedding, cooking supplies, and other items to make my space safe and livable.

* Transportation – to get to campus, clinicals, part-time work, and everyday responsibilities. ( I live about 4hrs from home)

* Living costs – food, textbooks, and other essentials that quickly add up.

I know times are hard for many people, which is why I’m not asking for large donations. Even just $10 per person or family can make an enormous difference. If enough people come together to give a little, it can truly help me cover the costs that stand in the way of my education.

Your support is an investment in someone who will dedicate her life to helping others in their most vulnerable moments. I promise to work hard, stay focused, and honor every bit of support I receive. One day, I hope to pay it forward and support others who find themselves in the same situation I’m in now.
