Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out with some exciting news and a heartfelt request for support. I've recently been accepted into the nursing program at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Class of 2027! This is a huge step for me, one I've worked incredibly hard to reach and I couldn't be more excited for this next chapter.
To fully commit to nursing school and succeed, I'll need to reduce my full-time work hours. I currently live on my own, so I still have bills, rent, and basic necessities to cover while juggling school and a part-time schedule. I'm asking for $4,000 to help offset the cost of tuition, fees, and essential living expenses while I pursue this life-changing goal.
Why Nursing?
To be honest, I didn't always know I wanted to become a nurse. Like many people, I went through that "figuring it out" stage, unsure of where I was headed. But once I took a deeper look into healthcare and what it truly means to care for others especially as a person of color, something clicked.
What drew me in most was the power of knowledge: understanding how the body works, how diseases are treated, and how lives are changed through compassionate care. Classes like anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and chemistry weren't just science courses-they were puzzle pieces that helped me see how everything connects. Now, going into nursing courses, I'm ready to take that knowledge and apply it in real-world settings to help real people.
A New Beginning
For those who know me, you know I've faced my fair share of doubt and tough days. But giving up was never an option. I've learned to push through, to believe in my purpose, and to lean into the process. This is more than just a degree for me, it's a new beginning. A chance to do meaningful work, give back to my community, and grow into the nurse I know I can be.
Every donation, big or small, will bring me one step closer to that dream. If you're not able to donate, sharing my story with others would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for your time, support, and belief in my future.
With gratitude,
Antonio Hunt
