Help me become a eurythmist!

Dear family, friends and community, beloveds and humans I have yet to know,

I am reaching out with a request for support. I am about to begin the fourth and final year of my eurythmy training with Peredur, Eurythmy UK, and I cannot do it without your support. Thus far, I have funded most of it myself, with help only from the Rudolf Steiner Association, to whom I am very grateful. Tuition fees each year are £4,500 and I just cannot afford this in addition to the rent of £550 per month until the completion of my training in July next year, which is what it costs to live here at Peredur.

I wish with all my heart to be able to give myself fully to eurythmy in this final year, without the stress and extra burden of working to support myself and trying to earn this astronomical amount each month. As you will know if you know me, I work beyond what is good for me and give my whole self to the things which matter to me, and therefore am longing for some support, that I may find more ease, rest and healthful balance in my life. I wholeheartedly wish to do this final year justice, to be 100% there for the eurythmy, with my colleagues, and for my evolution, that through my transformation and healing I may better serve the world, may better serve Divinity.

At the moment I am trying the avenue of Universal Credit, working super hard in a market garden for eight hours per day, and working night shifts in order to raise the money, but I am quite certain this will not be sustainable for long into my fourth year. As you may know, at this stage in a eurythmy training one must be ready to give all one's time, work being neigh impossible to sustain. Maximum two hours on a weekend, if one is going to do it right.

Your support would give me freedom to do the work of my choosing, with the hours I can manage, work which I believe will be of better service to the community, and free me from Universal Credit! I live in uncertainty as to how I will be able to meet their demands when eurythmy begins again in September, it is a lot to maintain, and I wish to be able to channel my energy into things which are serving our evolution instead.

Added to this is the need, not only for living costs, which I should be able to meet by myself, but travel costs, costs for the silks and other materials needed... Therefore, I have put forward a humble figure to you, in relation to the true cost, and ask that if you are in a position to support, you put money in the service of this, for me, but also, I hope, to strengthen and empower our collective human striving to remember and become who we truly are in all our glory. That the being of Anthroposophia be strengthened here on earth, given new life forces, encouraged, and so also the building of a new earth with the etheric substance created by our humble practice of eurythmy.

Eurythmy, whilst always and necessarily remaining a mystery, is an art of movement which was brought through to the earthly realm through Rudolf Steiner, one of our world's great initiates. It allows us to work and create with the living forces of the Word and of music, the closest thing we have to spirit in our world of the senses. Thus it has tremendous powers for healing the earth and we ourselves are healed, purified and transformed through our practice and working with Eurythmia. We are helping to build a bridge between the world of spirit and matter, communicating spiritual realities in the earthly plane.

This is more often our aspiration, and one can genuinely question whether one is actually ever really 'doing eurythmy', nevertheless we strive and keep going.
