Starting this fundraiser wasn’t an easy decision for me, but it comes from a place of wanting to build a better future for myself and the people (and animals) I care about. I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and over time I realized that working with them—helping them feel clean, comfortable, and cared for—is something I’m truly passionate about. That’s what inspired me to pursue dog grooming school. I want to turn something I love into a real career where I can support myself while also helping pets look and feel their best.
Recently, I’ve faced some serious health challenges. I’ve had six surgeries and just left the hospital, which is one of the reasons I can’t work a regular fast food job right now. The financial side—tuition, supplies, and basic living expenses while I’m in school—makes it difficult to move forward, and I don’t have the means to cover it all on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out for support. This fundraiser isn’t just about school—it’s about creating stability, independence, and a future where I can give back. With the right training, I’ll be able to build a career, help families take care of their pets, and even grow into offering more services in my community.
The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward helping me complete dog grooming school and stay stable while I’m doing it. A big portion will cover tuition, which is the main barrier keeping me from enrolling right now. I’ll also need to purchase essential grooming supplies like clippers, shears, brushes, and other tools that are required for training and future work. Part of the support will also help with basic living expenses while I’m in school, like gas, food, and bills. This will allow me to focus on learning and completing the program without constantly worrying about how I’m going to get by day to day. Every dollar will go toward building a real career for myself. With this training, I’ll be able to start working, become financially independent, and give back by helping people take better care of their pets. Your support truly makes a direct impact—it’s not just helping me get through school, it’s helping me create a future. Thank you so much for being a part of that.
