On ne sait pas toujours ce que l’on a envie de faire comme métier à 18 ans. Moi, je le savais et pourtant j’ai pris un autre chemin – plus sûr, plus conventionnel et, finalement, peu satisfaisant. Dix ans plus tard, j'ai l'avantage et la chance de savoir très bien où je veux aller - vers le métier de chefFE.

Ceux qui me connaissent le savent déjà, aujourd’hui j’ai un projet de reconversion pro et je commence ma formation CAP Cuisine chez Ferrandi à la rentrée. C’est vraiment l’accomplissement d’un rêve que j’avais depuis un moment :))

Ce rêve a malheureusement un certain prix et je me mobilise depuis des mois pour trouver des solutions de co-financement. Je ne vous cache pas, c’est long et surtout très incertain, donc je vais probablement être amenée à payer toute seule ma formation et les frais annexes (tenue pro, mallette de cuisine, livres).

En vrai, c’est une somme importante (environ 4 000 euros) qui me reste à régler après ma propre participation (environ 6 000 euros) et je me suis dit que cette cagnotte serait d’une grande aide pour moi, même si elle n’atteint pas ce montant ! Et si j’ai mon financement finalement, j’investirai tout dans la cuisine bien sûr (bouquin, matériel de cuisson, produits pour m'entraîner).

Donc si tu es un ami qui voudrait me faire un cadeau d’anniversaire (c’est le 26 juin, ça tombe bien hein ;), une connaissance ou carrément un inconnu très généreux, tu peux participer à cette cagnotte et m’aider dans mon aventure de reconversion culinaire. Des petits cadeaux de remerciement sous forme de gâteaux/plats/déjeuners vont venir par la suite ! ‍

You don't always know what you want to do in life when you are 18 years old. I knew it, and yet I took another path - safer, more conventional and, ultimately, unsatisfying. Ten years later, I have the advantage and the chance to know very well where I want to go - towards a career as a chefFE.

My friends and family already know that today I have a project to completely switch my career path and I am starting my CAP Cuisine training at Ferrandi (a famous culinary school in Paris) at the start of the school year. It really is the fulfillment of a dream that I had for a while :))

Unfortunately, this dream comes at a price and I have been working for months to find co-financing solutions. Honestly, it’s long and very uncertain, so I’ll probably have to pay for my training and related costs on my own (professional outfit, kitchen tools, books).

It is quite a large sum (around 4000 euros) that remains for me to pay after my own participation (around 6000 euros) and I thought that this sort of personnel ‘fundraising’ would be of great help to me, even if we do not reach this amount. And if I finally have my governmental funding, I will invest everything in cooking related purchases, of course (books, cooking equipment, products for training).

So if you are a friend who would like to make me a birthday present (it's June 26th, little coincidence ;), someone that I know from somewhere or a very generous stranger, you can participate and help me in my culinary reconversion adventure. И не на последно място, за всичките ми български фенове :

Не винаги знаете какво искате да правите в живота, когато сте на 18 години. Знаех го и въпреки това поех по друг път - по-безопасен, по-конвенционален и в крайна сметка не особено удовлетворяващ. Десет години по-късно имам предимството и шанса да знам на къде съм се насочила - към кариера на шеф готвач.

Приятелите и семейството ми вече знаят, че имам проект за цялостна смяна на кариерата си и започвам обучението си за CAP Cuisine във Ferrandi (известна кулинарна школа в Париж) в началото на учебната година. Това наистина е сбъдването на една мечта, която имам от известно време :))

За съжаление тази мечта си има цена и от месеци работя за намиране на решения за ко-финансиране. Честно казано, това е дълго и много несигурно, така че вероятно ще трябва да заплатя за обучението си и свързаните с него разходи сама (професионално облекло, кухненски инструменти, книги).

Това е доста голяма сума (около 4000 евро), която остава да платя след собственото си участие (около 6000 евро) и мисля, че този вид доста лично “набиране на средства” ще ми бъде от голяма помощ, дори и да не достигне финалната сума. И ако най-накрая получа държавното финансиране, ще инвестирам всичко в покупки, свързани с готвенето, разбира се (книги, оборудване за кухня, продукти за нови и амбициозни рецепти).

Така че, ако сте приятел, който би искал да ми направи подарък за рождения ден (който е на 26 юни, малко съвпадение ;), някой, когото познавам отнякъде или пък много щедър непознат, можете да участвате и да ми помогнете в моето кулинарно приключение. А някой ден ще има и малки благодарствени подаръци под формата на сладкишчета/ястия/обяди! ‍
