Hello, my name is Paige Jonson. I'm a wife and a mother of two. During the day, I work as a breastfeeding peer counselor. In this position, I participate in an array of responsibilities such as latch support, breastfeeding support, issuance of manual breast pumps, and breastfeeding education.

In this, I would love to advance my career from being a breastfeeding peer counselor to an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

With your help, I could participate in obtaining this certification. I am committed to advancing my skills in lactation support to pursue the IBCLC certification. This credential would allow me to provide a higher level of evidence-based care for future clients and expand more breastfeeding support services.

I would like to ask if my community could assist with tuition, exam fees, needed college courses, and supplies. Investing in my certification will directly strengthen my knowledge in the lactation process. If I am educated more in this field, I could help more mothers in need, and our community would have healthier children and mothers.
