Help Rebecca with her Bethel Music Program

Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am raising funds for a music program at Bethel Music College.

I've been accepted for the Worship Artistry Certificate (Artist Acceleration Program). This is an online program with the opportunity to take part in or audition to be featured on a main-stream worship album recorded at Bethel Music in Redding, California.

Why is this important to me?

Music has been a huge part of my life since I was a child, but since having kids, I felt like there are parts of my life that have almost dried up completely (all you mothers out there can relate...).

This is me performing with a jazz big band in Varsity.

Here I performed (while pregnant), accompanying the Mauthausen Gospel Choir. Mauthausen was one of the largest concentration camps in Central Europe during the 2nd World War. This choir is bringing the reconciliation of God and bringing hope to those shamed by the deeds of past generations.

I am a worshipper at heart. I love making music (all kinds from classical, to jazz, to contemporary pop), and so enrolling in this course is the first step to awakening my long-buried dreams once again.

I have no desire to be famous, I just want to use and share my gifts so that they grow. I can sense Jesus breathing life into these creative aspects of my life and so it's time to put my fingers to the keys and release the prophetic songs in my heart.

I love worshipping in unlikely places, partnering with God to see atmospheres shifted and establishing the presence of heaven in hopeless places...

Here I am worshipping on an organ in a Catholic Church hospital in Salzburg, Austria.

My biggest WHY? Well, to be honest, to simply have fun! My life these past 7 years have been mainly filled with mothering and domestic hustle. As much as I love my 3 boys, raising them has been an all-consuming task. I also want to show them that I am serious about developing myself apart from them. I want to model for them what it means to steward well everything God has given me.

How will the funds be used?

The funds will go to paying the course fees. I have received a scholarship from Bethel, and the remaining amount is what I am raising funds for. Since we just moved to South Africa, we can't really afford this right now. And so I am being bold, stepping out and believing that God will use you in His provision plan for this.
