Writing this is something I never thought I would have to do. I was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in September of 2021, after fifteen months of being in remission, and finally being able to return back to work in September of 2022, I received a call Sunday the 18th of December with heartbreaking news. During a routine maintenance lumbar puncture with chemotherapy, a sample of my spinal fluid was taken, and the results showed that the Leukemia is back. This past year has been taxing, mentally, emotionally, and financially. With the help of family, friends, our savings, and credit we were able to make it through the year and cover most medical costs and just started to get back on our feet. Unfortunately, the current situation is much different. Our next step for treatment, our only option left, is a bone marrow transplant since chemotherapy was unsuccessful. If the transplant does not graph, I was informed I would have six months left to live. My next year will be a long road of treatment and recovery. All while incurring large medical bills, prescriptions and premiums not covered by insurance this time, while having the daily cost of living. This past year had also exhausted our disability benefits, and my wife, Andrea, is unable to return to work so that she can take care of our two year old daughter, Raegan while I am fighting this another time. I am asking anyone and everyone for any help they are able to donate. Please share this as much as possible everywhere that you can as often as you can. My focus now is on beating this once and for all, so that my story does not end here. I am going to fight this fight like I did before and I will prevail.
