I never imagined I would have to write something like this, but recently I found out that I have Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
This diagnosis has affected every part of my life. It has taken a lot of my confidence, made daily life difficult, and has started affecting my ability to coach, spend quality time with my family, and even be fully present with friends. Something as simple as getting through the day has become a struggle while trying to stay strong through all of this.
My insurance has covered part of the medical costs, but I am still short $6,200 to complete the treatment I need. The doctors have made it clear that I cannot afford to wait much longer, because if I delay treatment another two months, there is a serious risk of it spreading further.
I’m asking for help because I truly want to get this treated as soon as possible and get back to being myself again — for my family, for the kids I coach, and for everyone who depends on me.
