I’m a mother of 6 and grandmother of 2. I have faced health challenges my whole life, including being diagnosed with some tick-borne illnesses, including Alpha Gal (which has made me allergic to all mammals, no meat or cheese, I’m even allergic to my own dogs), Lyme, and Bartonella, over the past few years. Although I was treated for the Lyme and Bartonella, I still had symptoms and just found out that I still have Bartonella and need an intensive treatment that will cost me around $4000 upfront plus travel and room expenses.

Long-term Bartonella infection can lead to a wide range of symptoms, including chronic fatigue, neurological issues, digestive problems, headaches, and more. It can also cause low-grade fever, eye problems, bone pain, anemia, and even neuropsychiatric symptoms like moodiness, depression, or anxiety. Bartonella can affect small blood vessels, potentially leading to tissue damage and reduced oxygen delivery to organs and tissues

it also causes the following:

Swollen glands in the head, neck, arms, and along the shins

Pain in the soles of the feet upon waking

Psychiatric symptoms

Feelings of rage

Neurological manifestations

Other symptoms that can accompany a Bartonella infection are:

Flu-like illness

Low-grade fever

Profound fatigue

Headaches

Muscle pain

Body aches

Abdominal pain

Changes in bowel habits

Eye and vision problems (such as floaters, light sensitivity, and blurry vision)

Anxiety and depression

Facial pain and tooth issues

Bladder and pelvic pain

Cardiovascular issues

Seizures

Bartonella may become life-threatening when a person is immunocompromised or elderly. Some people experience relapsing Bartonella, which happens cyclically when the bacteria pass in and out of red blood cells.

i have been living with this for most of my life, undiagnosed.

I have been able to work up until last month, so now we are living on one income. Our credit cards are maxed out from other treatments and medicines, travel expenses to go to the doctor, times when we didn’t have enough money and count work, etc.

I am so tired of being sick all the time and am hoping this will change my life and I can finally be even close to whole again. Any contribution or sharing would be greatly appreciated.
