Help me avoid homelessness by getting my van back

Facing homelessness come January 1st, I purchased a cargo van with all of the money I have with the intent of moving into it as soon as possible.

 

Unfortunately the place I purchased is denying it being involved in an accident while in their possession, despite my providing proof of the accident confirmed by multiple VIN reports.

 

I want to hold the company I purchased this from accountable but know that it's going to be a long process so I think that in order to get it functioning and in my possession the fastest I will need to facilitate paying for the repairs myself.

 

I don't have an income, cannot work and am *patiently* waiting on a disability determination from Social Security pending an appeal hearing. I have a fair credit score but no recent credit history so I was denied for the 2 loans and credit cards I applied for. After weeks of trying I somehow was able to get a credit card with a limit of $1200 from the bank my checking account is at so I am planning on using that to pay towards the balance, but I'm still not able to pick up the van until it is paid in full.

 

After having the car professionally delivered to me I was quoted over $8,000 for repairs from a local dealership (the dealership is an hour and a half away). I asked them to only fix what they need to make it run and the bill is around $3,800.

 

I also have to pay for taxes on the car, to register and insure the van, all things I budgeted for prior to knowledge of the accident; now that money is going towards the repairs.

 

I'm out of personal belongings to sell, can't cut down on anymore food or medications, and am lost on what to do which is why I've started this fundraiser.
