After losing my job, I fell behind on my bills and spent months struggling to survive and hold my life together. I finally found a new job that was going to help me get stable again, catch up on rent, and keep my utilities on. But before I could get back on my feet, my mom took my car one night while I was asleep and crashed it, totaling it completely. Because I lost my only transportation, I also lost the new job that was supposed to help me recover. Now I am about a week away from eviction and have shutoff notices from both my electric and gas companies. I’m doing everything I can, but I’ve reached a point where I cannot do this alone.

The funds will help me pay my rent, keep my utilities on, cover transportation costs, and catch up on other urgent bills. This support will give me a chance to avoid eviction, keep my basic needs met, and hopefully get back to work.
