Hi! My name is Virginia Skaggs, and I’m a senior in high school and proud DECA member. This year, I have the incredible opportunity to attend DECA Power Trip in Washington, D.C. — one of the most inspiring and impactful DECA events!

This trip is especially meaningful to me because I wasn’t able to experience it earlier in high school due to personal health challenges. Now that I’m healthy and thriving, I’m excited to make the most of this opportunity and represent my chapter at my very best.

At Power Trip, I’ll get to:

⭐ Network with DECA leaders and members from across the country

⭐ Learn new business, leadership, and communication skills

⭐ Grow as a chapter officer and bring back ideas to strengthen our team

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and since I’m a senior, this will be my last DECA chance to go. We have such an amazing group going this year, and I don’t want to miss the chance to learn, grow, and create lasting memories with them.

All funds raised will go toward travel, lodging, and registration fees for the conference. Every donation — no matter the size — helps me get one step closer to this incredible experience.
