Growing up, I didn’t really have my father in my life. I was raised in a single-parent household, my mother had worked hard and did everything in her power to give me everything that she could, and from an early age I was raised to be the independent person I know I can be, I do not ask for much, especially when it came to school or personal needs. I focused on getting through each year, doing the best I could with what I had.
But as I got older, I realized something: I don’t want to just get by. I want to build something better for myself. I want to make a name for myself and create a future I can be proud of.
I’ve been accepted to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I plan to major in Immersive Reality. My goal is to become an Immersive Experience Designer / XR Designer, creating intuitive, meaningful virtual worlds that people can explore and connect with. I’m also interested in working as an Immersive UX/UI Designer, designing usable and accessible interfaces for 3D environments, or as a 3D Environmental Artist, helping build the worlds themselves. These careers blend creativity and technology, and they offer real opportunities to build a stable and successful future.
I don’t ask for much, but right now, I’m asking for a little help. Even a $5 donation would bring me one step closer to graduating, attending SCAD, and turning my passion into a career. Every contribution goes towards my tuition and helps me move closer to a future where I’m not just surviving, but creating something meaningful.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me believe that my background doesn’t define my limits.
