In August of 2025, I received my Bachelor's degree in Pre-Physical Therapy at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. While I was at FAMU, although I was a physical therapy major, I was actively playing the trombone in the jazz band and had frequent gigs in the area. My musical career was thriving, even as I pursued my studies in Pre-Physical Therapy, and I found great joy and success in music on the side.

After a very successful year, I was encouraged to audition to Juilliard for my Master's in jazz studies for tenor trombone, starting in fall of 2026. This was a big challenge for me and a very intimidating one, but I took a chance out of faith. I spent the next year learning everything I needed in order to be accepted into Juilliard, and I made a lot of sacrifices in that one year, since I never received a bachelor's in music. However, by the grace of God, my work was enough to get into the master's program at Juilliard.

The funds raised will go directly toward my tuition, books, and housing expenses. Attending Juilliard is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and your support will help me focus on my studies and make the most of this incredible chance.
