Hi, I'm a high school student involved in a business competition, DECA. I've qualified for internationals this year; however, the price is $1,800, which is unaffordable for me and my family. For this reason, my parents have not allowed me to go, even though they really wish they had the capability to support me.

My parents were refugees who came to the US in adulthood and studied at community college while working minimum wage jobs to build me a life I'm so grateful for and to give me opportunities they were never given. Now, DECA ignited my passion in business, which I hope to now pursue a career in to repay them. Going to internationals would act as a launchpad to support my career as I learn new skills and meet fellow students across the world. Thank you!
