I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this. This has been a very hard time for everyone in our family. Last Sunday, my father passed away. Despite now living on the opposite side of the continent, I was able to spend a few days with him in the final weeks of his life thanks to the generosity of my uncle, David. But now the family is stretched for funds with funding the funeral, and I am unable to afford yet another flight to Asheville on such short notice.

So now, I am reaching out to more family and friends, as those who could help in the family are burdened with deep funeral costs in the thousands. If there are any among you who are able to spare anything to help me afford to fly to pay my respects, I would be forever grateful for your contribution.

The cost of the plane ticket would be anywhere from $400 to $600, depending on how fast we can raise funds. In the event that I receive more than I need, I will be transferring that money to my brother, who is paying for most of the funeral arrangements, we would be forever grateful if you could help us out with that as well.
