Help Me Attend a Round Square Conference in East Africa!

Hi, my name is Emilio Comas. I’m thrilled to share that I have been selected to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a Round Square Conference in East Africa!

This incredible journey will take me to Nairobi, Kenya, and Kigali, Rwanda, where I will join peers from across the globe in exciting cultural, educational, and service-based activities. These experiences are designed to foster leadership, global understanding, and personal growth.

This opportunity is particularly special to me because both my father, Adolfo Comas, and my uncle, Enrique, attended Round Square Conferences when they were students at Box Hill School. I’m proud to follow in their footsteps as I represent LVS Ascot on this unforgettable trip.

Here’s a glimpse of what I’ll be doing:

In Nairobi, Kenya, hosted by Brookhouse School:

Exploring the wonders of Nairobi National Park and witnessing wildlife in its natural habitat.

Visiting the inspiring Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, which rescues and rehabilitates orphaned elephants.

Participating in a meaningful service project at a local school, contributing directly to the local community.

In Kigali, Rwanda, hosted by Green Hills Academy:

Learning about history and resilience with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.

Supporting environmental conservation efforts in Akagera National Park.

Engaging with students and peers worldwide, building lifelong friendships and a deeper appreciation for global cultures.

This trip is a fantastic chance to develop leadership, collaboration, and service skills, all while exploring two beautiful and historically rich countries.

However, I need your help to make this dream a reality! My parents have asked me to take responsibility for helping fund this trip, and I’m determined to do my part.
