Hello, my name is Mila,

I am a transgender woman who lives in the Netherlands, but does not feel accepted by her environment here. For years I have struggled with discrimination, misunderstanding and constant pressure not to be fully myself.

My dream is to finally be able to fully become a woman — not only physically, but also emotionally and mentally.

I want to move to Thailand or America, where I can get the medical care, freedom and safety that I need as a transgender.

In Thailand, good transgender care is more accessible and affordable, and in America I hope to find a new community where I can be myself.

This step means everything to me. It is my chance for a new beginning, a life in which I can finally feel good about myself.

But I can't do it alone.
