As many of you know, I recently lost my job in DC after a rough stretch in a toxic work environment. To top it off, my unemployment claim was denied, which has left me without the safety net I was counting on. It’s been a tough year, and it’s clear to me that it’s time for a new start.

I’ve decided to move to Montana with my cat, Peach. She’s been my anchor for more than a decade, and making sure she’s safe and comfortable on this journey is my top priority. I’ve mapped out the route, planned for pet care and medication, and set up a timeline, but with the loss of income, covering the costs of the move is difficult on my own.

Funds raised will go toward:

Gas, food, and hotel stays along the cross-country drive

Peach’s travel needs and medication

Initial setup costs once I arrive
